Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. has created a regional headquarters office in Tokyo, Japan. The office will host a wholly owned subsidiary called Yingli Green Energy Japan Corp. Ltd. (Yingli Japan).

"Japan is an important PV market for us," says Liansheng Miao, chairman and CEO of Yingli Green Energy. "With the establishment of the Japanese subsidiary, we expect to be closer to our customers and penetrate deeper into this market."
