American Public University System, an online higher-education provider focused on the military and public-service communities, has inaugurated a 407 kW PV array at its headquarters in Charles Town, W.Va.

According to SolarWorld, which supplied the modules, this installation is the largest in West Virginia. The array, mounted on a carport structure, was designed and constructed by Mountain View Solar, based in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
