REC Introduces Installer Certification Program

| Norway-based vertically integrated solar manufacturer REC has launched a certification program for solar installers. More than 100 installers in six countries are already certified as REC Solar Professionals, the company says. The qualification provides installation personnel with high-level training as well as warranty perks and service fee compensation. Each REC Solar Professional who fulfills certain requirements is able to offer a 12-year warranty to customers purchasing REC modules. This is two years more than the standard REC product warranty. REC will also compensate all compliant Solar Professionals with a service fee for approved claims. In addition, the program provides installers with the possibility of participating in training courses and seminars. All REC-certified installers are given access to an online portal offering data, module registration and marketing material. More information on the program is available here. |
