A new renewable energy research center has opened in the heart of the world's oil producing market. The Center of Research Excellence in Renewable Energy at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dharan, Saudi Arabia, will focus on alternative energy technologies including solar and wind energy plus economic strategies for bringing these technologies to global markets.
